A look back at the 2018 Deer and Turkey Classic [video]

Tiffany and Lee Lakosky were the official headliners, and they didn't disappoint: The stars of the Outdoor Channel's "The Crush" were a huge draw at the 2018 Outdoor News Deer and Turkey Classic, held Friday, March 9 through Sunday, March 11 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul.

But they weren't alone when it comes to star power at the show. White-tailed deer are the centerpiece of the Classic, likely the reason a good many of the thousands of people who attended were here at Warner Coliseum in the first place.

Kids and families made up a big chunk of those overall attendees over the weekend for the family-friendly event. The Kids Zone – from the Fish Pond to rubber band, laser and archery shooting to the Outdoor News Junior Pro Team booth drew a throng of youths and families.

Regardless, whether it was for the Lakoskys, the whitetails, the Kids Zone or any of the many other potential draws (wild turkeys, other outdoors celebrities, cutting-edge seminars, a coliseum floor packed with notable vendors ...), the Classic had something for everyone.
