SportDOG® Brand to Sponsor Outdoor News Junior Pro Team

Knoxville, Tennessee (February 19, 2021) – SportDOG® Brand, an industry-leading manufacturer of electronic dog-training products and accessories, has announced its sponsorship of the Outdoor News Junior Pro Team (JPT) program for 2021. The initiative is designed to encourage youth ages 18 and under to get involved in all types of outdoor pursuits by providing a forum for them to learn and share experiences.

Outdoor News, a popular family of publications and digital platforms for sportsmen and women, is published in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. It's JPT program gives outdoor oriented youth a chance to learn outdoor skills from industry experts, find out about the latest and greatest gear, participate in JPT-sponsored events, and learn from each other by sharing photos and videos with the group.

Another exciting component to the program is the chance to win gear through weekly JPT contests. SportDOG Brand will be providing grand prizes such as its FieldTrainer® SD-425X remote training system, as well as accessory prizes, including check cords and hats.

“SportDOG Brand has a long history of supporting conservation groups and a variety of youth programs, and Outdoor News has really put together a nice program that we’re proud to support,” said Gretchen Goodson, SportDOG Brand Marketing Manager. “We are also going to contribute dog training content and tips to the JPT program in hopes that it will encourage more youth to learn about the rewarding process of building a great hunting dog.”
