Crestliner launches ‘Angling Aces’ fishing program for students

OTSEGO, Minn. — Crestliner recently announced its "Angling Aces" program, aimed at nurturing high school and college-aged anglers' passion for fishing and guiding them toward higher education and careers related to the sport, the company said in a news release.

In addition, the program aims to help student anglers with fishing techniques, become advocates for the outdoors and resource conservation, and learn and practice on-water safety, the release said.

The program components:

  • Scholarships: A variety of scholarships will be awarded to students through the Angling Aces program, including team, individual academic and individual angling scholarships.
  • Jersey discount program: Teams and clubs have the opportunity to be considered for discounted Crestliner jerseys.
  • Boat Purchase Program: Qualifying anglers will have the opportunity to receive an exclusive discount on a new Crestliner boat purchase.
  • Education: Events will highlight careers, safety, angling techniques, the outdoors, conservation and more.
